WILTSHIRE Council are offering children free swimming to keep them active and entertained this half term.

Youngsters aged up to 16, can use pools for free during specific sessions at Wiltshire Council and Places for People Leisure-managed sport centres for free during specific sessions.

The offer will run from Tuesday May 29, to Friday June 1.

Children will need to claim a free membership card in advance by visiting bit.ly/2qBDajz or by collecting a form from participating.

They will also be offering intensive swimming lessons to build youngsters confidence in the water.

John Thomson, Wiltshire Council cabinet member for leisure, said: “We are pleased to help parents and their children by offering a great range of fun and healthy events to keep them busy this half term.

“Free swimming is always a popular offer, and intensive swimming lessons are a brilliant way to help youngsters gain confidence in the water or to develop their ability if they are already used to swimming.”
