JACK Stancombe has been selected as a Petplan Equine ambassador for a second year.

The rider from Malmesbury has now been supported by the company for four years.

Jack competed on five horses last year and had an excellent season finishing runner up on the West Wilts and Style International points series.

Riders like Jack are all well known in their local equestrian community, advocates for responsible horse ownership and are passionate about competing.

All of the Ambassadors are armed with the task of helping promote the brand and highlight the importance of responsible horse ownership and insurance, in keeping horses happy and healthy.

Jack will be provided with a branded kit as well as £500 towards competition entries and training costs.

Media training will also be given to support Jack further in his equestrian career.

Jack said: “It makes you feel very proud to be supported by a company with such a great reputation.

“As Ambassadors we have all experienced making a claim and can be completely genuine about our experiences.

“The help and support I have had from Petplan Equine has really made a difference to my career with horses.

“As a company I know that when they deal with a claim, a knowledgeable horse person will be on the end of the phone to help and advise me, which certainly makes the stress of having an injured or poorly horse so much easier.”
