ALL LANES have reopened on the M5 northbound and southbound in Gloucestershire following an accident earlier this morning.
The incident, in which a vehicle reportedly crashed into the central reservation, took place between junction 10 for Cheltenham and junction 9 for Tewkesbury occurred at around 5.50am.
Traffic on the northbound side was at first limited to the use of the hard shoulder, with a lane also being closed on the southbound carraigeway to help the recovery efforts.
All lanes have now reopened, but traffic is still heavy, with expected travel times of around 25 minutes.
