RESIDENTS in north Wiltshire are being urged to respond to this year’s annual election canvass.
In August, Wiltshire Council sent out 213,000 household enquiry forms to each property in the county to ensure details of eligible voters are up to date.
Carlton Brand, Wiltshire Council and returning officer, said: “If people want to have their say on local and national matters that affect them, such as an election or referendum, they need to be registered to vote, so it’s vital they respond.”
Details can be confirmed or updated by visiting householdresponse.com and selecting Wiltshire or by texting 80212 using the security codes at the top of the form.
The form can also be amended and returned in the envelope provided. The deadline to respond is November 6.
