A 7-YEAR-OLD child was taken to hospital with head injuries after a collision on the A419 at the weekend.
The three vehicle incident took place shortly after 7.20pm near Blunsdon on the Cirencester-bound carriageway on Saturday.
As a result of the collision, a 7-year-old child was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with head injuries and two adults were taken to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon.
According to Wiltshire Police, the adults suffered minor injuries and the child has not thought to have suffered serious injuries.
The A419 was closed for about three hours as officers carried out investigations.
Wiltshire Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information regarding it to call 101 quoting log number 300 of September 16, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
