POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man died on the A419 last night.
A 31-year-old male pedestrian died in hospital after being involved in a collision with a grey Saab 93 on the southbound carriageway near Swindon.
The female driver of the car was uninjured in the incident which occurred at about 9.30pm.
The road was closed for three hours to allow collision investigators to carry out their investigations.
As yet, no arrests have been made.
