Man charged with knife possession and assault in Malmesbury
A MAN who was arrested in Malmesbury last week has been remanded in custody, charged with common assault and possession of a knife.
Police were called to an address in Parklands last Friday at 7.30am following reports of a disorder.
Noel Clifford, 26 from Malmesbury, was taken to Gablecross station in Swindon for questioning.
A police spokeswoman confirmed today that he was charged and will appear at Swindon Magistrates Court on Wednesday, September 6.
