STAFF from Oak and Furrows wildlife rescue centre in Cricklade were called to help a fox which got trapped in a Swindon department store today.
House of Fraser in Swindon was closed to the public all day after a fox fell through a ceiling panel after accessing the shop through the store room overnight.
Chrissy Ball from Oak and Furrows said: “It is an adult female, she looks very fit and healthy but obviously being in House of Fraser is not where she wants to be.
She said staff at the store called them to help with the rescue saying the fox hid herself in a rack of jeans.
“We didn’t want to release her into the centre of Swindon in the middle of the day so she is here with us now.”
