A STUDENT at Malmesbury School has been praised for her entrepreneurial nous by one of the town’s accountancy firms.
Year 12 student Emily Roberts has been given an award by McGills Chartered Accountants after proving her worth in an ‘Apprentice’ style challenge.
Emily impressed by leading a team of fellow students in running an Easter egg enterprise at her school.
The firm praised her mature work ethic, diligence, contributions to class discussion and her success in a small business challenge.
Deborah Morton, an associate at McGills who presented Emily with the award, said: “I was delighted to be able to present Emily with the prize.
"She is a deserved winner and really stood out for her efforts in the small business challenge.”
