NORTH Wiltshire is widely considered to be an extremely safe Tory seat, having been held by the Conservatives since it was created in 1983.
Although that fact may dishearten a portion of the electorate who do not identify with the Conservative Party and many could be put off from voting entirely.
However it is crucial that every eligible person in the country takes the opportunity to cast their ballot in whichever way they choose.
Millions of people around the world do not have the freedom to choose who governs them.
Throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries, many people gave their life to ensure Britons have this privilege.
At the very least, political parties receive funding, known as Short Money, based on the number of votes they receive.
Your vote will still help your party, even if it doesn’t elect the candidate you prefer.
Whether your politics are left, right or centre, if you are registered to vote you must get down to the polling station today.
