The people of Malmesbury have chosen Gavin Grant to be their county councillor in yesterday's election.
The Liberal Democrat candidate won with 946 votes, ahead of the Conservative's Frances Sheppard on 699 and Labour's Fred Price - 110.
Gavin will take over from Independant Simon Killane.
The turnout was higher than in 2013 with both the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats seeing an increase in voters however Labour's share of the vote has slipped by 20.
