A CONSTRUCTION company working on a care home in Malmesbury is offering to distribute the site office furniture to local community groups in need.
Bouygues UK, who helped build Riverside Community Centre in Gloucester Road, are working with the Friends of Riverside to identify local good causes to hand over eleven desks, seven tables, three cabinets, five folding canteen tables, 19 stackable chairs, 10 swivel office chairs and 22 non-swivel chairs from their office outside of Burnham Court for a small donation.
Kim Power, chair of Friends of Riverside, said: "This is a great example of business doing their bit to support the local community. Bouygues UK have already helped us at the new Riverside Community Centre during our refurbishment, by painting some of the rooms for us free of charge as part of their local community contribution, for which we were very grateful.
"Neil Bowkett has now taken this even further by offering local community groups the opportunity to have some nearly new office furniture free of charge, which we are very pleased to help organise."
All the money raised from the furniture, will go to charity. For more information or to place an order contact Kim on 01666 825113 or email info@riversidecommunitycentre.org.uk.
