Cirencester woman admits child sex charges she previously denied

At Gloucester Crown Court Sian Ada-May Donnachie of Park View, Stratton, pleaded guilty to inciting a 13-year-old girl to engage in sexual activity by presenting herself naked in front of her between November 2014 and November 2015.

Donnachie also admitted two charges of possessing child pornography - six Category B images of children and 19 Category C images - between June 2013 and July 2015.

Judge Jamie Tabor QC bailed her pending sentence on May 5.

At an earlier hearing Donnachie had denied the three charges but they were put to her again today(1) at her barrister Giles Nelson's request and she pleaded guilty.

Another defendant in the same case, Marc Hill, 27, of Melmore Gardens, Cirencester, has already admitted nine sex charges.

He has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting the same girl when she was 12, between November 2013 and Nov 2014.

He also admitted inciting her to engage in sexual activity and having sexual activity with her when she was 13.

He further admitted inciting a different girl, aged 15, to send him photographs of her naked breasts during April 2014.

Hill went on to plead guilty to two charges of making indecent photos of children and two of distributing such images to Ms Donnachie between June 2013 and July 2015.

And he admitted one further charge of making 53 Category C indecent images of children in the same period of time.

Judge Tabor ruled that before they are sentenced, both defendants must each provide a written basis of plea setting out what they accept they did.

He also called on the prosecution to summarise 1,800 pages of emails sent and received by the defendants.

Virginia Cornwall, prosecuting, said the Crown would need to explain to the court 'the background of interaction' between the defendants.

The judge described it as a case of 'gravity and sensitivity.'

He ordered pre sentence reports on both defendants and bailed Donnachie on condition she does not contact prosecution witnesses or Hill.
