THE grand opening of a fascinating new county-wide exhibition about Wiltshire during wartime takes place in Malmesbury next week.
Wiltshire at War: Keep the Home Fires Burning, will explore the day to day life of women across Wiltshire during the Great War.
The exhibit will be launched with an evening of free live music from WW1 themed singer Louise Jordan, who will be performing music from her latest album No Petticoats Here, inspired by the stories of the remarkable women who served during the war.
The launch is taking place at Malmesbury Town Hall on Friday, March 3, at 7pm.
The exhibition will remain on display at Athelstan Museum until May 15.
