FIREFIGHTERS from Malmesbury’s fire crew attended two call-outs today.
At 8.41am they had to gain access to a property on Sir Bernard Lovell Road, Malmesbury, to rescue a lady who had collapsed inside.
A fire service spokesperson said: “We received a call from Ambulance at 8.41am to assist with access to a property and one crew from Malmesbury attended the scene.
“We successfully gained access to the property at 9.05am, and the patient was then cared for by the local ambulance crew.”

Just over an hour later at 10.08am, they were called out to the Snooty Fox in Tetbury to what was initially thought to be a chimney fire.
They cleared the chimney with Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue members and used a thermal imagery camera to confirm all was safe before they left the scene.
