A CHARITY have launched a brand new guide to help people living with sight loss.

Wiltshire Sight have produced a booklet to provide visually impaired people with the information they need to stay active and live life to their full potential.

The booklet includes a variety of tips ranging from help on using technology to how to identify different coins by touch.

The guide will also be available as audio file.

There will be no charge for the booklet in print or audio format.

Leanne Hubbard, chief executive of Wiltshire Sight, said: “Wiltshire Sight have identified that people aren’t getting the support they need.

“We understand the increasing pressures that are placed on the council and sight loss organisations, so we have responded to people’s needs by producing this amazing handy hints guide and increased the amount of our peer support and information sessions that we hold in local communities.

“We are delighted to be offering our support to those living with sight loss.”
