ANOTHER car has veered off Hambidge Lane in Lechlade, thought to be a result of icy conditions.
A 54-year-old man from Lechlade left the road on a bend and collided with a tree this morning.
The driver of the black Vauxhall Vectra was taken to hospital in Swindon with facial injuries caused by the tree impacting on the driver's window.
An ambulance and police were called to the scene at 9.22am.
If anyone witnessed the incident, they are urged to call police on 101 quoting incident number 97 of December 29, 2016.
This was one of two serious accidents on the same lane today.
A pensioner also has died after veering off the road and crashing into a field in Lechlade.
The 66-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident in Hambidge Lane.
