VANDALS have drawn “offensive” graffiti at a skate park in Cricklade.
The graffiti, some of which were too offensive for the police to release pictures of, was put up some time between November 11-14.
Wiltshire Police have said they are taking the incident serious and that they “will not tolerate” graffiti in the community.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “It displays a complete lack of respect for your surroundings.
“These facilities are used by people of all ages and this type of behaviour can have a negative impact on the amount of pride residents feel within their community.”
Graffiti is classed as criminal damage and is therefore an offence.
The police have said they are investigating the damage and will be carrying out CCTV enquiries.
They are appealing to anyone with information as to who is responsible to get in touch by calling 101.
