Meat thief strikes at Waitrose in Malmesbury
POLICE are investigating a suspected meat thief, after they discovered an abandoned bag of stolen goods close to Waitrose in Malmesbury.
The bag of meat was discovered by a police officer on Friday, who promptly returned it to the shop.
When the staff reviewed the CCTV it became evident that a male, who has been identified, was seen on the footage taking the meat items from the supermarket and then leave without paying.
Police enquiries continue.
