Two men arrested after they were seen trying to break into a garage in Malmesbury
TWO men have been arrested after police received a report of them acting suspiciously at Burton Hill, Malmesbury, today.
The registration number of the pair’s car was taken by the occupant of the house after they were seen attempting to enter a garage.
The men were stopped in Chippenham at approximately 12.30pm by police officers and arrested for attempted burglary.
They pair had a number of tools and equipment in their vehicle.
Following the incident a police spokesperson said: “Please check your premises to see if you have any missing items.
“If you have any information please contact Wiltshire police on 101 quoting log number 89 of October 13.”
