VILLAGERS in the Gauzebrook benefice will come together for their inaugural produce competition this weekend.
The event has been a year in the making and is set to take place at 11am on Saturday at the primary school in Stanton St. Quintin.
The competition is open to villagers from the Gauzebrook benefice, which includes Sherston, Stanton St. Quintin, Hullavington, Luckington, Easton Grey and Foxley among other areas.
There will be a variety of categories such as open cookery, handicraft, junior cookery, flowers, fruit and vegetables.
The sale of cakes and teas, plus the fresh produce on the day, will go towards raising funds for an African charity based in Bristol called For-Ethiopia.
