A TASTER of one of the most significant historical finds ever discovered in Malmesbury will be on display next weekend.
An open day is being held for the Malmesbury Coin Hoard on Saturday, September 17, from 10am-noon at Malmesbury Library.
Thanks to a recent Heritage Lottery Fund grant, the coins will soon undergo refurbishment and conservation.
So, this is a rare opportunity to see them before they eventually go on public display again some time in 2018.
