POLICE are urging residents to be vigilant, after a possible attempted burglary took place in Ashton Keynes last week.
At approximately 2am on August 11, a mother in Ashton Keynes was waiting for her children to come home.
As she waited indoors she heard movement at the front door and looked out to see a dark skinned male of skinny build, in his mid-20s, hiding behind her car, wearing a black hat and carrying a bag.
The area was searched by a police dog but no suspect was found.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Please be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to Wiltshire Police.”
