A MAN was arrested after a gun was fired at a Malmesbury School prom after-party last week.
Police from Gloucestershire were called to a farm in Cherington following reports of a firearm being discharged into the air and disorder during a party just after 4am on Friday, July 1.
Officers attended and arrested a 49-year-old man on suspicion of a firearms offence, assault and a public order offence in connection with the incident. He has been bailed to return to police on September 5 pending further inquiries.
The man is a licensed firearms holder but officers have suspended his licence and seized his certificate and all his firearms following the incident.
No one was injured in the incident.
