Malmesbury scout group appeal for volunteer treasurer
THE Malmesbury King Athelstan Scouts are appealing to residents for help in finding a treasurer to keep the group running smoothly.
The post involves keeping up-to-date accounts for the group, preparing the annual return, ensuring compliance with finance regulations, being a part of the executive committee and being a trustee of the scout group.
The group has more than 100 members made up of one Beaver Colony, two Cub Packs and two Scout Troops.
