A GROUP of textile artists will be exhibiting work inspired by the natural world next month in Malmesbury.
To Gather Threads is an exhibition by Bath Textile Artists being held at the John Bowen Gallery in the town hall.
Felt making, hand and machine embroidery, weaving, dying, printing and painting on fabric are all techniques that will be on display.
A version of this exhibition was first shown at the Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution in 2015 and was inspired by the collection of artefacts held there from the natural world, especially shells and fossils.
The exhibition takes place in Malmesbury from July 2-14, and is open 10am-4pm each day, with free admission.
