RESIDENTS are being invited to take part in a communal picnic for the Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations next month in Malmesbury.
The town council are organising a ‘picnic in the park’ event to be held at St Aldhelm’s Mead on Sunday, July 12, from 3-5pm.
People are encouraged to bring their own food and drink and join in with the giant community picnic.
There will be bouncy castles for the children and it is hoped all ages will be entertained by an acoustic open-mic session.
