SHERSTON isn’t known for its thriving bluegrass music culture – yet.
The rural Wiltshire village has two bluegrass bands playing on the same night next week (Friday, May 6).
The legendary Arkansaw Jukebox Collective are playing covers from The Sex Pistols to Radiohead in bluegrass style at the Rattlebone Inn in Sherston. Entry is free with the show starting at 8.30pm
Then, next door in the village hall, Stompin’ Dave and His Bluegrass Band will be playing their old time bluegrass classics. Tickets are £10 in advance from the local post office with the show starting at 7.30pm.
