NOW is your last chance to nominate those people who make a difference to the health and wellbeing in Wiltshire.

Nominations are still open for this year’s public health awards, being held to recognise and celebrate individuals, groups, organisations and businesses that help improve the health and wellbeing of Wiltshire’s local communities.

Maggie Rae, Wiltshire Council corporate director and director of public health, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to give wider recognition to all the different projects, groups, initiatives, services and support which help to improve the health and wellbeing of people in Wiltshire.

“As always, I’m sure it will be a very tricky task to shortlist the nominations as the quality is always so high.”

Keith Humphries, Wiltshire Council cabinet member for public health, said: “This is one of the highlights of my year and I never fail to be impressed by the dedication and quality of work by all the nominees.

“The people and organisations we will be celebrating don’t carry out their work to win awards, so we’re looking forward to shining the spotlight on them and thanking them for all they do.”
