THE leading tourism website for Wiltshire has won a prestigious national award.
VisitWiltshire won the Best Tourist Board Website in the annual TravelMole web awards, as voted for by members of the public.
People were asked to make their decision based on the website content, layout, ease of navigation and innovation.
The tourism organisation was presented with the award at a ceremony in London.
Fiona Errington, marketing manager at VisitWiltshire said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have won this award especially after recently refreshing our website to make it fully responsive and incorporating our ‘timeless’ branding.
“This award has been won based on the public’s support which is therefore a great achievement for us.”
TravelMole was established in 1998 and is an online community for the travel and tourism industry publishing to 30 million consumers in 132 countries.
