WILTSHIRE Council have announced that from today part of the B4040, Abbey Row, Malmesbury, has been closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety.
This is to enable Wessex Water to carry out an emergency replacement of a fire hydrant.

The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works period access will be maintained for residents.
It is anticipated the work will take only two days however the order has a maximum duration of 21 days.
Access will be maintained for residents within the closure throughout the works however delays may be experienced due to the nature of the works.
