THE tenth Emergency Services Show is being celebrated in style this year with a spectacular wingwalking display.

Daredevils from Breitling Wingwalkers will be taking to the sky to entertain and wow spectators with the pilots conducting breathtaking loops and rolls while the wingwalkers perform acrobatics on the wing.

As the world’s only formation wingwalking display team, the Breitling Wingwalkers are renowned for dazzling spectators at events throughout Europe and beyond. Recent trips have seen the team displaying in front of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and in Japan for the Iwakuni Friendship Day.

Chris Harvey, chairman of the Emergency Services Show Charitable Trust, said: “2015 is our tenth Show and we wanted to bring in something we have never had before.

“The Breitling Wingwalkers are nationally renowned, and we are delighted to be bringing them to our event. It will be a spectacular sight for our visitors.”

Amongst the other attractions planned for the day include police dog displays, air ambulance displays, cooker fire demonstrations, fire engine and police car rides, new and vintage emergency vehicles and a fun fair.

The Emergency Services Show is organised by volunteers from a number of organisations, including Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service, Wiltshire Police and South Western Ambulance Service. The organising committee became a charitable trust last month.

More than £115,000 has been raised by the shows since 2005, which goes to groups that support the work of the emergency services.

This year’s anniversary show is being held on Sunday, September 13, at Hullavington airfield, just off J17 of the M4.

Tickets are priced at £6.50 for adults, £3.50 for U16s and U3s get in for free. Online ticket sales are now open and a pre-purchased family ticket will cost £18, giving a saving of £2. Charities and non-commercial exhibitors can attend for free. All exhibitors are asked to register in advance.
