IF you have used first aid to save a youngster's life, St John Ambulance want to hear from you.

They are appealing for parents, grandparents and carers from Wiltshire to come forward with real-life stories of how they’ve used first aid skills to help young people.

The stories are used not only to help with launching campaigns but also to help educate people who may encounter similar situations.

The charity’s training and community projects manager, Jim Jones, said: "Every year across Wiltshire we train hundreds of people in vital first aid skills.

"No-one should suffer from the lack of a trained first aider and we know that real-life examples of people saving lives inspire more people to learn first aid.

"We especially need stories from Wiltshire people who’ve given emergency first aid to babies and young children; if you think your experience could inspire the next generation of life savers we’d love to hear from you."
