HARDWORKING youngsters Toby Cole and Liam Walsh have achieved the highest award you can get as Cub Scouts.
The pair were awarded their Cub Scout Silver award earlier this month, having joined the club two and a half years ago, aged eight.
They had to complete six challenge badges to receive the award, which included promise, community, fitness, creative, global and outdoor work. Some of the activities were done in Pack meetings, while others were done at home.
The boys have taken part in a variety of outdoor, fitness, global and craft activities as well as several pack holidays and a camp since becoming Cub Scouts.
Jonathan Barstow, Group Scout Leader of 1st Malmesbury Scout Group, said: “Both boys thoroughly deserved the awards and are looking forward to moving on to Scouts."
