Sherston Boule and Carnival
A TALK on the action and background of the battle of Sherston will go ahead from 7.30pm this Saturday at Sherston's Church of the Holy Cross.
The talk will be given by Winchester University lecturer David McDermott and will give some explanation for the celebrations of the Battle of Sherston's 990th anniversary next year.
Tickets are available from the Post Office for £7 including a glass of wine.
