A SPONSORED 24-hour bike ride is coming to Crudwell this weekend for the 25th time in the village’s history.
The 2015 Crudwell Bike Ride event is on June 20 and June 21.
Cyclists of all ages and abilities will be getting in the saddle to raise money for a host of good causes.
During the first sponsored ride, the funds were all directed towards the construction of a new village hall, but the event was so successful that it raised the money just three years later.
Since then, the ride has raised more than £230,000 for a variety of good causes.
This year’s event will see proceeds go towards supporting the Wiltshire Air Ambulance, Help for Heroes, Medicins Sans Frontieres and more.
