THOUSANDS of motorcyclists will ride around Hullavington Airfield and towards Royal Wootton Bassett as a tribute to military staff and families.
The Ride of Respect is an annual mass ride by motorcyclists that help raise funds for military charities and shows respect for those who have served in the armed forces.
On May 17 there will be road closures from Hullavington to Royal Wootton Bassett from 8.30am to 4pm. Diversions will be signed.
The ride is organised by two biking Grandmother's, Julia Stevenson from Dartford in Kent and Anne Cole from Gloucester.
Julia organised the first ride by rallying more than 15,000 motorcycles and 22,000 riders and pillions.
Over the past 4 years' rides around a half million pounds has been raised for military charities. This event has become an annual event raising funds for military personnel and causes.
