NEW objectives have been laid out by the charitable organisation HEALS Malmesbury at an open meeting between trustees and the public.

The group, which supports people with issues ranging from housing and benefits to domestic violence and legal advice, explained that although 2014 was a success they hoped to achieve even more in 2015 with help from their supporters.

Appeals for Christmas presents will be joined this year by a request for donations of chocolate Easter eggs for children living in refuges.

As well as this a credit union for north Wiltshire and an affordable cookbook will be launched to help people deal with financial pressures.
