WILTSHIRE Police would like to speak to a man caught on CCTV in connection with a sexual assault in Swindon.

The assault took place just after 11pm on November 27 near Lincoln Street in the town centre.

A 34-year-old woman was walking in the area when she was attacked and sexually assaulted by a man who then ran off towards Euclid Street.

The man is described as white, wearing a dark coloured long sleeved top and jeans and was seen walking along Regent Circus in the direction of Groundwell Road.

DC Adam Leakey said: "This was an extremely distressing incident for the victim and it is vitally important that we are able to find the person responsible and bring them to justice.

"We would like to identify the man pictured in the CCTV footage. If you know him, please contact us as soon as possible. This man may have vital information to assist us with our enquiries."
