PUPILS at Malmesbury School have raised more than £400 to donate to the six service charities that the ceramic poppies installation in the Tower of London is supporting.
The challenge, which involved about 100 students, was for each house to raise as much money as possible then lay down the coins collected to create the poppy shapes.
A grand total of £426.43 was raised - with William House raising the most money.
The installation of the 888,246 poppies at the Tower of London will start to be dismantled by a team of about 8,000 volunteers on Wednesday
