POLICE have charged a man with attempted rape and assault following an alleged attack on two 19 year old women in Church Place, Swindon on November 1.
Peter Coleman Quinn, aged 22, from Swindon was charged last night with two offences of attempted rape and once charge of assault.
The charge relates to an incident that happened at 4:10am on on November 1 of this year when two 19 year old local women were walking along Church Place, Swindon.
He appeared at Swindon Magistrate's court this morning and was remanded in custody. The date of his next appearance in court is yet to be confirmed.
