ONE of Malmesbury’s high street florists is celebrating its reopening with a range of tropical plants.
Flowers Galore closed earlier in the year to allow a refurbishment, returning the building to a natural stone look.
The plan to go ahead with refurbishment was made around Christmas time and the business has been trading from the shop’s back area since works began.
Karen Reynolds, the shop’s owner, explained that they wanted to do something special for the reopening and decided on tropical flowers.
Blooms on offer include ginger flowers, orchids, pineapple flowers and gloriosa – more commonly known as flame lilies.
Speaking about the refurbishment she said “It looked nice before, but nothing in comparison to how it looks now. It’s more in keeping with the character of Malmesbury.”
