HUNTER Page Planning has unveiled their plans for the residential redevelopment of Ridgeway Farm in Crudwell.
The company held a public exhibition detailing their vision for 19 new houses on the land where Ridgeway Farm currently stands.
Boards presented at the exhibition said “The site has not been operational for some time; the buildings have fallen into disrepair and it has become an eyesore.
“Due to the poor state of the farmstead, it would not be viable to re-use the redundant barns for commercial / employment uses and they do not lend themselves to residential conversion.”
The development is set to include several green spaces as well as a new footpath to connect the site and the rest of the village.
The houses will be a mix of two, three and four bedroom properties with , of which 30% are to be affordable housing.
As well as improving the appearance of the site and creating homes to meet local demand Hunter Page Planning also believe it will generate more local jobs and investment opportunities.
No planning applications have been submitted yet and residents are being asked to provide their comments on the proposal, available on their website: http://www.hunterpage.net/news/ridgeway-farm-crudwell
Completed forms should be sent to chloe.clark@hunterpage.net or to the Hunter Page Planning offices.
