THIRTY youngsters from William House at Malmesbury School got a wiggle on to raise hundreds of pounds for the Teenage Cancer Trust following the death of 19-year-old campaigner Stephen Sutton.

Students and staff donned comedy wigs and ran laps of the school building.

Over the past four years they have raised more than £10,000 for the charity which has a special unit for patients at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. They are planning more sponsored cycling and swimming events.

The charity, which has rock star Roger Daltrey as patron and counts Noel Gallagher as a supporter, provides specialist services for teenagers and their families, expert staff and education.

Stephen Sutton, whose death will be marked with a vigil on May 29 and 30 at Lichfield Cathedral, raised more than £3 million for the trust while fighting against multiple tumours, even from his hospital bed. He was described as inspirational by his mother.
