Phones out at fire headquarters

A LINE fault put the non emergency phone lines at Wiltshire Fire Service headquarters in Devizes out of action today.
In a statement posted on its website this morning the service said: “We hope that this issue will be resolved very soon. 999 calls are still being received but, as ever, we would urge people to only use this number for genuine emergencies.”
The lines were finally fixed mid afternoon.
