RESIDENTS will have a chance to make their views on the draft Malmesbury neighbourhood plan known next month if the town council votes tomorrow night to allow the official consultation.
The plan, which covers St Paul Without and Brokenborough, was first published just before the Gleeson appeal hearings started last month and has already undergone several revisions.
But on March 5, if the town council gives the go ahead at a 7pm special meeting in the town hall, the first of two official consultations lasting six weeks will begin. The meeting is open to the public.
There are hopes that a referendum on the final draft of the plan, intended to guide the town’s future development, could be held in the autumn.
