GUNDOG owners will be able to show off their handling skills at this year's Cotswold Show in July.
The British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) has organised a new competition which will run over four scurry disciplines at Cirencester Park.
Dog and handler will compete against the clock and the winner will have the quickest overall time for all four scurries.
Lord and Lady Apsley have donated the trophy, named the Queen Anne Cup.
Also up for grabs is £100 of Chudleys dog food vouchers and a prize will be given to the best young handler.
All four scurries will be open on Saturday, July 5 and there will also be a "have-a-go" scurry for those who wish to run their dogs without the competitive element.
For more information contact BASC on 01823 480903.
