A CARE home manager who plundered nearly £30,000 after she ‘ran amok’ with her employer’s chequebook has had her supervision ended early.
Rhoda Stewart was told she would be under the supervision of the probation service for 18 months when she was put on a suspended sentence in March last year.
But the 49-year-old, of Ellingdon Road, Wroughton, Swindon, was told she will not have to complete the final five months because of good progress.
The mother-of-three, who admitted defrauding employer Wendy Williams who ran the Greyhound Farmhouse residential home at Barnsley, near Cirencester, remains on the one year suspended sentence until next March.
