OYEZ! Oyez! FAIRFORD will have plenty to shout about this weekend when the town hosts a national town crier competition.
Around 17 town criers from across the country will take part in the free event hosted by Fairford town crier Maurice Jones (pictured) this Saturday (May 19) in a bid to be crowned Britain's best bellower.
The event starts at 10.45am with a parade from the community centre to the Market Place where the competition, which includes a children's section, will begin.
