Gravestones vandalised in Tetbury

POLICE are appealing to the Tetbury community for information after gravestones were pushed over in a cemetery in the town.

Overnight between Saturday May 5 and Sunday May 6 seven gravestones were pushed over in the cemetery of St Saviour’s Church on New Street.

Officers are investigating the criminal damage and urge anyone that saw any suspicious behaviour in the area over the weekend to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 149 of May 6.
